So going to Kansas City and finding a cool frozen yogurt place like Yummo in the power and light district made me really want to find a place just like it. Yummo was my favorite place in Kansas City and I only went there once..what a shame..I had no time so that's my excuse. If only I can find something similar in PDX...
My search continues.

Dining at Cadillac Cafe
Omelet with mushroom and greens followed by potatoes and whole wheat toast.
This dish was just right, the combination of the three is satisfying and fills you up. The potatoes are made just right, they aren't soggy or greasy at all.
White chocolate pumpkin french toast with potatoes.
Try this breakfast dish if you like sweets and pumpkin stuff! The french toast came with maple syrup but that wasn't necessary because it was good enough without it. The potatoes evened out the sweets.
Cadillac cafe is a place for those who enjoy a nice cute looking place. The place is just as pretty as the food! And unlike many restaurants, the kitchen is actually visible and in sight to people. Usually kitchens are hidden because they may be dirty and messy but Cadillac cafe has an exposed kitchen area which looks amazingly clean. Though the place only opens from 7am til 3pm, it is a great place to relax and have lunch or breakfast! The service is great, the people are friendly, the food fills you up and it's satisfying. Cost is not bad at all for serving size and taste. I have been to Cadillac Cafe probably about five times so far, but that number will soon change!
Stir fry with instant noodles, mini corn, tofu, broccoli, shrimp, carrots, bean sprouts, and your choice of flavoring!
If you're not worried about the calories. . . eat this!
Pot stickers. . . which can be found at grocery stores!
Peanuts!
Creme puffs anyone?
Dried instant noodles and green beans with a cracked egg to top it off! Simple yet satisfying.
bean sprouts, tofu, and noodles.

E-san Thai
Tomyum soup— Lemon grass soup with tomatoes, mushrooms, onions and kaffir leaves
Chicken Pad Thai
E-San Thai was overall worth it. It had good service, a party of 10 was served very quickly when there was only one waitress and the food presentation was nice as well. The cost was good for the portion size and going with a big group of people is good because then everyone can share and try a variety of things!

MC at Pambiche
Tostones - fried green plantains.
It's like Cuban banana, but unlike a ripe plantain this one is not sweet and it taste similar to french fries.
Empanada
Though I only tried two appetizers which was also during happy hour, I can surely recommend Pambiche but first you may want to do your Cuban food research or look their menu up online!
Pambiche is located in NE Portland, so instead of driving by admiring the colorful building, give it a try!
Since I was not familiar with the foods I thought, "Why not try something small?" The inside of the restaurant is just as nice as the given picture outside if you look up the restaurant online. It has a friendly atmosphere and though it may be relatively small the place gives off a exotic vibe. The menu is ongoing so if you enjoy trying different foods besides Asian, American, Italian, and such then give Pambiche a try. Their service is great and the waitress explained what types of foods were what. They have desserts that sound delicious and I tried the coconut chocolate chip cookie. . . delicious! If you like coconut and you like chocolate chip cookies, you just have to try this creation! Once I do some Cuban food research or find a great Cuban friend I am sure to head to Pambiche again!
